Here we are at the end of another very long week. The weather continues to disappoint, and the whole world feels out of alignment. That said, humankind persists. I often feel like I’m writing a news dispatch from the end times. It’s hard enough to make sense of people’s behavior, let alone know how to act or which emotion to show. That said, here’s a look at what’s been going on:

• 7 ocean mysteries scientists haven’t solved yet.

• The surprising afterlife of used hotel soap.

• Clever’s Guide to Color Trends Through the Decades.

• I could put my wine club knowledge to good use for this one.

• Need this new attachment for an upcoming margarita party.

• Currently watching: Hate to admit it but I have to finish This Is Us.

• Currently reading: Empire of Pain by Patrick Radden Keefe (solely because of how good Say Nothing was).
