Weekend coffee #192.
Happy long weekend, folks! We’ve made it to Saturday which means we’ve somehow navigated another week in this dystopian hellscape this is life in 2021. I would lament all the things wrong with this country, but frankly, I just don’t have the energy anymore. Getting through the day is enough. There was a meme going around earlier that I can’t seem to find at the moment of a Venn diagram that said “apocalypse” on one side and “having to go to work” on the other. Somehow we’ve ended up in the middle, but at least I didn’t end up with 5’ of water in my house like a friend did. It’s the little things really. Anyway, here’s what else is happening:
The 2021 Fall Foliage Map. I’m a sucker for changing leaves. It’s the New Englander in me.
Q: Where Can I Find a Pay Phone? A: Rochester, apparently.
I picked up a used copy of John Waters’ Mr. Know-It-All from our local bookstore the other day but definitely adding Still Mad to my ever-growing list.
Do I need this dress? I’m having a moment with colors.
Currently watching: He’s All That is up next.
Currently reading: The Newcomer. Rounding out trashy beach read season.
That’s all for now. Until next time - thanks for following along and have a good weekend!
