Weekend coffee #193 + 194.
I probably should have taken last Saturday as a sign. I took an unexpected break from posting after spending a couple of days in the city working NYFW. If I had recognized that as a sign when it happened, I might have avoided missing lifts in my meet last Sunday. But I didn’t, and after 18 months of grinding entirely too hard, my body decided it was time to take a break. So, I spent a good chunk of this week avoiding work and trying to get caught up on life to bring some balance back into the equation. As such, I don’t have a whole lot to share right now.
Fuck the Bread. The Bread is Over. This is from last year but feels oddly relevant again.
I Lost My Dad on 9/11. I’m Still Searching for Who He Was. Twenty years.
Taco Bell Wants Your Old Sauce Packets So They Can Be Recycled.
Currently reading: Dare to Lead by Brene Brown. Normally, this wouldn’t be my thing but as I said, it’s an off week.
Currently watching: The OG Unsolved Mysteries on Hulu.
That’s all for now. I’ll be back next week with a more legit update. Until then - thanks for following along (and give yourself a break if you need one).
