Weekend coffee #93.
I’m writing this ahead of a day trip to Sleepy Hollow, where I will attempt to get into the fall mood. If I'm totally honest, I had so much fun this summer that I’m having a hard time letting go, even though we’re almost a month into autumn. In talking with my friend Jake the other day, he commented that even though it’s cool and breezy, it feels like we could slip back into summer at any moment. Sort of wish he was right. Anyway, while I fight the impending seasons, here’s a look at what this past week:
A sleeping octopus. How lovely. I wonder what’s really happening.
"Working from anywhere: the good, the bad, the lovely" (near and dear to my remote working heart).
Holy shit, could you imagine if this were the case?
I loved my Super Soaker growing up. I loved this story about its origin even more.
Watch: me commenting on last week’s HR Tech Conference for Human Resource Executive magazine.
Listen (and pre-order!): Bronco II’s forthcoming album - Highway Star (self-serving is the word of the week, folks).
That’s all for now. Here’s hoping I don’t run into the headless horseman today. Until next time - thanks for following along.
