Weekend coffee #181.
As we approach the official start of summer, I’m realizing how quickly time is moving. Weren’t we all trapped inside for months on end like a minute ago? Now life is seemingly normal again and nothing’s changed. Can’t say that I’m too surprised by that last bit, and yet give that it’s Juneteenth, I think it’s worth acknowledging the performative nature of American culture. All style, no substance.
Finally got to see Kusama: Cosmic Nature at NYBG this week (my first trip into the city in any form in like 18 months).
My Grandma’s 30-Year-Old “House Rules” Taught Me How to Keep a Clean Home
Watching: Just finished Cruel Summer.
Reading: Golden Girl (cause I love a good beach read).
That’s all for now. Until next time - thanks for following along.
