Weekend coffee #205.
Alright, here we are in December. It’s finally starting to feel a bit like the holiday season since the weather right now is cold and gray. I’m planning to get my real tree tomorrow, but have already decorated the porch, put out my tabletop tree, and added a 4’ artificial tree to my kitchen. Because you can never have enough forced cheer, amiright? Tonight, we’re going to our first Christmas party, followed by The Ergs!/Hunchback show at House of Independents, which no doubt, will feel like a college reunion. All the warm and fuzzies over here. Otherwise, as of yesterday, I’m boosted, just in the time for the arrival of Omicron, and anticipating another quiet-ish winter. Life under Covid conditions seems to have no end. Here’s what else is happening:
This week’s big work project. Never ceases to amaze me how much money is going into the HR/work tech space these days.
Playing The Oregon Trail Made Me a Murderino. This is … relatable.
I joined the Donkey & Goat wine club and am looking forward to their winter release.
‘House of Gucci’ Proves You Can Be Offensively Anti-Italian.
Saw this sweatshirt on a Cup of Jo feature this week and yes, please.
I have a cookie exchange this week. Thinking of bringing these Zebra-Striped Shortbread Cookies and Eggnog Rice Krispies Treats.
Currently reading: in between books at the moment so catching up on Cocaine & Rhinestones.
Currently watching: Gilmore Girls for the four hundredth time.
That’s it for now.
