Weekend coffee #38.
Well, hello there. Another week in the books and another week closer to vacation. Can’t wait. In the meantime, I’m sprinting the last few miles of this marathon with birthdays to celebrate, articles to write, hours to log and workouts to complete. I’ll sleep on the plane. In the meantime, here’s what I’ve been reading:
I feel like I link to Topic a lot but only because their content is that good. Take this quiz to find out if you’d be eligible for a U.S. work visa - the answer may surprise you.
This piece is heartbreaking and mandatory reading for everyone. I don’t have to tell you that our healthcare system is messed up but Becky’s story speaks volumes.
My dad (a Vietnam vet) sent me this incredible photo series by Cade Martin called “Over War” that features Air Force pilots from Operation Rolling Thunder.
Every time Bikini Kills does something my inner teenager screams with delight so I’m psyched to see them added to the streaming services.
As somewhat of a design snob, this post on “bridesmaid font” really resonated with me. Thanks to Girls’ Night In for including in this week’s newsletter.
Item of the week: Turmeric bromelain capsules. I’m still allergic to life so these are saving my life while I’m off antihistamines for a bit.
If you have suggestions for things to do and see in Japan, let me know. Ten days and few more posts until then.
