Greetings, hi, hello.

Welcome to my site. This is where I showcase my work and write about this thing called life. Enjoy!

2018 book update.

2018 book update.

Around this time last year I touted my renewed interest in reading, rattling off a lengthy list of accomplishments in the process. I even revisited the topic around April, presenting another round of achievements. And then that all but dropped off.

I’m not really sure why I stopped reading so much this year. I have theories. Two of which hold weight: my schedule changed substantially plus my iPad died and an Amazon Fire 7 turned out to be a crap replacement. Because as my neatly organized Google document shows, my decline coincides with both of those things happening. I’m actually being sort of hard on myself. True, I did not read as much this year as last. But, I did manage to read like 42-ish books in total (it’s just that 21 of those were in the first four months of the year and rest from May until December). Oh well! As the saying goes, shit happens.

I ditched the Fire tablet pretty quickly after I got it, relying instead on physical books and occasionally, my phone. Not sure how I’ll proceed next year though I have to say it’s sort of nice turning real pages again. Anyway, here’s the full list of everything I read in 2018 with links to my favorites.
