Weekend coffee #1.

Last night, Jesse and I braved the arctic tundra that is Asbury Park (see photo) to check out a restaurant opening. Sadly we were less than impressed but will give it another go in a few months. Despite the lackluster meal, less than zero temps and working on a dry January, it felt good to get out of the house after a rather cozy week indoors. 

Like many, I try to stay in bed a little later on weekends and catch up on content from the week. This weekend I decided to share. A new take on an outstanding tradition if you will. 

Currently contemplating getting to the gym this morning and all I have to say is THANK YOU. Feels good to know I'm not the only one. 

And while we're on the topic of thank yous. Yes, Iceland. Yes. 

Love this list from The Atlantic that feels all too familiar some 35 years later. Would venture a guess that similar lists exist for 2018.

Going to give this recipe from Trader Joe's a try. I've been struggling with breakfast ever since I found out I'm allergic to eggs. 

Already bought tickets to go see "I, Tonya" next weekend. I was a kid living in Nancy Kerrigan's home state when the whole incident went down and still remember the public outcry.
