President James A. Garfield once said, "The truth will set you free. But first it will make you miserable." Which Gloria Steinem revised to read, "The truth will set you free. But first it will piss you off." Author David Foster Wallace took it a step further saying, "The truth will set you free. But not until it is finished with you." I'm pretty sure all three were right, each representing a different phase of the process. Seeing people's true colors and finding out what really goes on behind closed doors aren't always easy pills to swallow but at the end of the day, there's simply no need to keep excess fat hanging around - it will just drag you down. And cream always rises to the top.
