Almost a year ago, I mentioned the International Girl Gang Underground zine, the brainchild of Kate Wadkins & Stacy Konkiel. I'm not sure how I haven't talked about the end result sooner, but some recent buzz direct from Kathleen Hanna reminded me to be share. The project's mission is simple: THE INTERNATIONAL GIRL GANG UNDERGROUND compilation zine is a collection of stories, artwork, and critical work about DIY feminist cultural production and punk rock today, twenty years after the riot grrrl movement, and in the wake of its legacy.
