Hey y'all.
I'm in Savannah, home of Paula Deen, a million little parks and the fourth largest port in the country (or so I hear). In terms of food, I'm not cut out for Southern eating as tasty as it may be. It's just too damn hot! Today I hit up the beach at Tybee Island, wandered the streets and people watched on River Street. Definitely a tourist destination but very, very beautiful (pics once I'm home). My waiter tonight was a former Monmouth County boy, born and raised. What exit?
Off to ATL tomorrow. I'll give a full report on food, lodging and hot spots once I cross back over the Mason-Dixon line.
